FAMILY LIFE
MISSION STATEMENT

We believe that the family is the domestic Church
and the basic unit of society.
We commit ourselves to making family life a priority in our lives.
We pledge to use our time and talents
to assist in strengthening, healing,
and celebrating the vocation
of marriage and family in our parish.
We will listen to the concerns and needs of families.

We will respond to families using these means:
*   like-to-like support and ministries
*  written materials
  referral to resources outside the parish.

We will collaborate with our pastor, staff and
existing parish ministries in accomplishing our mission.
We build this ministry upon the Church’s teaching about family,
the guidance of the Holy Spirit and the gifts given to us
for service in our parish community.

A Family is...
