The Plaza was erected in 2001.
A statue of Christ the King marks the stairway. (Ramp access is on
the opposite side of the plaza).
It provides ramps for handicap access to the sanctuary,
parish center, and adoration chapel. Additionally, the plaza is a gathering space for a
hundred or more individuals; weather permitting, outdoor events are
presented here (Two examples: the Women of the Well
programs and recitation of the Rosary).
The focal point of the plaza space is the statue of the
Blessed Mother, set in an alcove, and surrounded by roses which bloom in
season.
