Family Day

in Camden

We have had a wonderful, yet busy year. Our biggest project this year was Francis House. I would like to thank the parishioners of Christ the King that helped us with donations. We went back in the beginning of May and cleaned up the grounds and planted flowers that were donated by Magnolia Gardens. The place looks wonderful. We helped out with the wrapping and delivering of the Christmas presents in December. Our other projects within Camden were Family Day where we served food to over 2,000 people and the tree planting with the NJ Tree Foundation on a side street in Camden. Here the homeowners on the street came out and we all worked together to plant these trees that weighed 1,200 pounds.

For fun we went bowling, had a lock-in, did a team building/fun day at Camp Ockanickon and a Great Adventure Trip. We have a wonderful and caring bunch and they are always willing to help others. If you should have any questions or suggestions for the youth group, please contact Elaine Celenza at 429-1600/354-1925 or ecelenza@christ-the-king-parish.org

A letter with registration will be sent the end of August.

Have a wonderful safe summer!

Elaine (Mrs. "C" or Mamma Lizzy)
